Brandie Rae Perkins is a local Saskatchewan artist. She is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on acrylic painting and alcohol inks. Brandie has had an interest in arts since she was young and has focused on creating and adapting her art through a variety of mediums. She is an active member of a vibrant arts community, collaborating with and learning from her peers. Always enthusiastic to learn and accept new challenges, she brings fruition to ideas and projects of unfamiliar mediums. Brandie draws her inspiration from travel and her time spent in nature. Colour theory and heavy textures define her work. She was a children's art instructor for years at a local art studio, and has since purchased and runs the Cathedral Art School in Regina. Her most recent solo exhibitions, Fluid Movement at Government House in Regina in 2020 and Urban Absence at TAE Gallery in Regina in 2015, were well attended and received. She has also shown in previous years in a variety of local exhibitions and auctions. Her pieces can be found in an assortment of collectors showcases nationally, including Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Ontario and B.C.
